House concerts are the best way to hear live music! 

House concerts are really awesome! They are one of my favorite types of venues to play/see live music. Basically it's a seated acoustic concert (typically solo) in your living room and is much more like hanging out and sharing music and stories. All you need is a space that can hold 25 - 70 people, which can be a living room, backyard or deck and then scrounge up all the chairs you can (couches, benches, folding chairs etc.). Typically, I ask for a minimum of 35 people with a $25 - $30 suggested donation at the door. I would be happy to work with you to set one up!  

Here's how to get started:
     
* Send an email to Penelope Grzebik at pgrzebik@gmail.com and pick a date and time that works with your schedule.

* Invite your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers $25 - $30 donation goes directly to artist.

* Decide if you want it to be a potluck, or BYOB, or no food - your choice.

* Arrange every chair you can find (couches, lawn chairs, bar stools, office chairs) in the space you have for the  
   show.

* Have fun!
